PRESS RELEASE
Encourage Resources Launches New Mobile App and NeuroShift Training to Transform How America Understands the Human Mind at Work
For Immediate Release
Coral Gables, FL — October 1, 2025
This October, in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), Encourage Resources announced the launch of its new Konnect mobile app and expanded NeuroShift training program—two groundbreaking tools designed to help companies and individuals better understand how the human brain performs in modern, tech-driven workplaces.
The launch marks a shift in how organizations think about cognitive differences. Rather than focusing on traditional DEI frameworks, Encourage Resources draws from neuroscience and computer science research to help companies reduce cognitive overload, enhance decision-making, and design systems where both humans and AI can thrive.
“NeuroShift isn’t about diversity checkboxes—it’s about understanding how the brain actually works,” said Kathryn Kerrigan, Founder and CEO of Encourage Resources. “When leaders grasp how human cognition differs from machine processing, they can build environments that enhance creativity, innovation, and focus instead of unintentionally draining them.”
Bridging Cognitive Science and the Future of Work
Encourage Resources is pioneering a new category of corporate education by integrating cognitive neuroscience into leadership training. Through the NeuroShift program, organizations learn how to manage information flow, prevent cognitive overload, and balance automation with human expertise.
Research shows that the human brain can intake over a billion bits of sensory data each second but can consciously process only about 50 bits per second. This bottleneck explains why the modern workplace—saturated with digital communication, notifications, and multitasking—can so easily lead to burnout.
NeuroShift helps companies implement human-centered design principles that protect against overload while strengthening creativity, focus, and critical thinking in an AI-augmented world.
The Konnect App: A Platform for the Neurodiverse Workforce
Alongside NeuroShift, Encourage Resources is launching the Konnect mobile app, available for iOS and Android in October 2025. Konnect connects neurodivergent professionals—including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other cognitive differences—to inclusive employers that value unique problem-solving and innovative thinking.
The platform empowers both sides of the employment equation:
- For individuals, it offers accessible job discovery, tools for self-awareness, and workplace success resources.
- For employers, it provides training and analytics to create environments that align with human cognitive strengths.
Together, NeuroShift and Konnect represent a complete ecosystem—training the leaders who shape workplace culture and empowering the individuals who bring that culture to life.
